He is survived by: his parents, Floyd Sims and Shirley Hawthorne Sims; his brother Christopher Sims (Thomesha Burton); his nephew Christian Sims; his close friend Anton Purifoy; his former wife Dominique Carrington (Sims); Branden Sims. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
