He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Dempsey and Iva Tunnell Dempsey; and his siblings, Mickey, JB Dempsey, Rebecca Hastings and Anette Harper.
He is survived by: his daughter Misty Helms (Baylon) of Arkadelphia; his grandchildren, Colby Helms of Arkadelphia, Conner, Robin Tackett of Louisiana, Devyn and Alex Hollaway of Hot Springs; and his great grandchildren, Ryker Tackett, Declan and Emelyn Hollaway.
