We are sad to announce that on May 25, 2025, at the age of 71, David Wayne Dempsey of Gurdon, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mickey Dempsey and Alta Stauffer Dempsey; and his brother Mike Dempsey. He is survived by: his wife Tamra Bliss Dempsey; his children, Brandon Dempsey (Natasha) of Williston, ND, Shane Dempsey (Sarah) of Arkadelphia and Amber Weems (Brant) of Gurdon; his grandchildren, Bentley Dempsey, Rylee Weems, Hunter Dempsey, Sawyer Dempsey, Gunner Weems and Hallie Dempsey; and his sisters, Rhonda Sheperd (Gary) of Arkadelphia and Denise Freeman (Tommy) of Arkadelphia.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Welch Funeral Home (202 S 4th St, Arkadelphia, AR 71923).
