He was predeceased by : his mother Birdie Clark Hathcoat; his daughter Rebecca Carter; and his siblings, Virginia Hathcoat and David Hathcoat. He is survived by : his wife Pam Harper Hathcoat of Gurdon; his children, Lori Rogers (Jeff) of Gurdon, Jennifer Thomas of St. Petersburg, FL, Toby Childres (Kristi) of Bismarck and Tyler Childres (Katy) of Gurdon; his siblings, Danny Hathcoat of Gurdon, Joyce Helms of Arkadelphia, Rita Roe (Danny) of Gurdon, Wonda Clark (Dickie Don) of Gurdon and Betty Calley (Randy) of Sapulpa, OK; his grandchildren, Aubree Cole, Ashlee Stewart, Loren Pee, Jordan Jackson, Parker Rogers, Blaise Childres, Landon Rogers, Cooper Anderson, Brooklynn Rogers, Stella Childres and Kensley Childres; and his great grandchild Slade Pee.
