It is with sadness that the passing of Lonnie Hester of Hackett, Arkansas is shared. Lonnie, born on October 11, 1974 in Hartford, Arkansas, passed away on September 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jeff, Dorothy Hester, Harold and Effie Plunkett. He is survived by: his parents, Paul Hester and Kathy Hester; his wife Jody Hester; his sons, Brady Hester (Allie Willsey Hester), Avery Hester (Sarah White Hester) and Peyton Hester (Abbi Crawford Hester); his stepchildren, Olivia Gaston and Jack Gaston (Alison Walsh Gaston); his grandson Sawyer Paul Hester; his brother Woody Hester (Amanda Hester); and his nephews, Cogan Hester and Wyatt Hester.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hackett High School (102 N Oak St, Hackett, AR 72937).
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial contributions to the Hackett Scholarship Foundation for the establishment of the Dr. Lonnie Paul Hester Memorial Scholarship.
