He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Lee and Edna Eloise Bradt (Powers); and his sister Carol Sue Bradt. He is survived by: his wife Bernice Bradt; his daughters, Theresa Watterson and Angela VanOrnam; his brother Norman Keith Bradt; and his grandchildren, Jimmy Watterson, Joey Watterson and Paxton VanOrnam.
