It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles T. Wells of Hamburg, Arkansas, born in Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on August 2, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Charles T. "Pete" Wells; his grandson Kye Wells; his children-in-law, Heather Taylor Wells and Paul Berryman; his stepgrandson Dustin Edwards; his parents, Louie Wells and Ellen Davis Wells; and his brother Bobby Wells.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Wooten Wells of Hamburg; his daughters, Laura Berryman of Fountain Hill, Paulette Mitchell (Randy) of Hamburg and Mendy Berryman (Mike) of Monticello; his siblings, Melvin Wells of Lacey and Estelle Wells of Little Rock; and his grandchildren, Jim Mitchell Dotti (Stephanie), Susan Carver (Josh), Jordan Berryman, Clif Wells (Mandy), Kate Weaver (Torry), Cody Berryman (Kayla), Lane Berryman and Heather Brock (John). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
