He was predeceased by : his parents, J. D. Higginbotham and Gail Bing Higginbotham; his siblings, Valerie, Gary and John David; and his nephew Zachary.

He is survived by : his brother Jay of Crossett; his son E. J. (Meagan) of Fayetteville; his grandsons, Cason and August; his nephew Gary Keith (Chloe) of Crossett; his great-nephews, Rexxon and Zach; and his great-niece Ellie. He is also survived by family members and friends.
