He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Orum and Fernande Vicknair Barrett; and his siblings, Robert Orum Barrett, Jr., Mary Louise Harp and Eve Elizabeth Torian.

He is survived by : his wife Sue Hall Barrett of Hamburg; his daughter Brandi Barrett Garrison (Kyle) of Jonesboro; his siblings, Errol Barrett of Portland, Johnny Barrett (Linda) of Hot Springs, Lela Mae Pickett of Texarkana, Laura Pasqua of Gonzales and Gloria Roebuck; and his granddaughter Elizabeth "Lizzie" Barrett Garrison. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
