She was predeceased by: her son Benjamin Charles Brooks; her parents, Boyce Cope and Barbara Jones Raines; her stepfather Charles Raines; her grandparents, Claude, Cloma Cope and Miriam Ridgway; her parents-in-law, H. S. and Lula Lee Howie Brooks; and her brother-in-law Joe Miller.
She is survived by: her husband Sanders Brooks of Hamburg; her daughter Karen Forrester of Monticello; her sisters, Sherry Denise Miller of DeWitt, Lorie Hancock (Danny) of Beebe and Sherry ONeill of Monticello; her brother-in-law Don Brooks (Kathryn) of Cabot; her aunt Joann; her uncles, Wayne Jones and Jack Steinberg; and her nieces and nephews, Kaylor Murphy (Dylan Gray), Stephanie Murphy (Kyle Boileau), Rachel Edmondson (Curtis), Rebecca Ausbrooks (Jody), J. Brooks, Joe Brooks, Megan Bateman and Grace Brooks. She is also survived by many cousins, special family and friends.
