He was predeceased by: his wife Sharon Yvonna Roberts; his parents, Thomas Roberts and Mattalene Clark Roberts; and his sister Martia Roberts. He is survived by: his sons, Doug Roberts (Susan) and Randy Roberts (Lisa); his brothers, Harold Roberts (Martha), Billy Roberts (Jeanie) and Mike Roberts (Carol); his grandchildren, Jake, Heather and Amanda; Carolyn Harlan. He is also survived by one great-granddaughter; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to be made to Mount Pleasant Freewill Baptist Church in his memory.
