He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Edwards and Christine Strickland Buzbee; his sisters, Mildred Oliver and Sue Price; and his stepdaughter Velysa Dawn Pierce.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Roberson Buzbee of Hampton; his sons, Raymond L. Buzbee, Jr. (Alondra) of Hampton, Timothy Lynn Buzbee (Katina) of El Dorado and Edward Troy Buzbee of El Dorado; his stepchildren, Monique Murphy (John) of Smackover and Gregory Dean Brumley of Norphlet; and his siblings, E. T. Buzbee (Verta Mae) of Hampton and Diane Grice (Hubert) of Kingsland. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
