He was predeceased by : his parents, C. W. Ables and Nancy Avant Ables; his wife Dorothy Richardson Ables; and his daughter Jenarie Ables. He is survived by : his children, Richard Ables (Lyn) of Lucas, TX, Marion Stokes of Hampton and Melenna Simpson (Arel) of Vicksburg, MS. He is also survived by four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
