He was predeceased by: his parents, William Stone Sr. and Bonnie Chapman; and his grandparents, Sunshine Friar Earle, Barney Fred Earle and Mattie Adele Hoover Stone.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Louise Schick (Chad), Fred Leon Stone Jr. (Tara Stone) and Kyle Wade Stone; his grandchildren, Ty Murray (Mae), John Stadler, Shaddix Stone and Bennett Stone; his siblings, Brenda Louise Brockman (Robert) of Burwell, William Newell Stone Jr. (Kathy) of West Plains and Valerie Jean Hartsfield (Keith) of Jacksonville, Florida; his cousin Tim Rinker; his siblings' children, Nicole Louise Brockman, Robert Orlyn Brockman Jr., Sara Ann Stone Melvin and William Newell Stone III; and also Evelyn Elaine Stone (late William Newell Stone Sr.). He is also survived by extended family and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home (1316 Porter Wagoner Blvd, West Plains, MO 65775). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
