He is survived by: his caregiver Mary Dwyer of Harriet; his stepchildren, Lori Stohr of Newport, Melba Stevens (Bub) of Round Mountain, Tommy Simpson (Dessie) of Harriet, Sam Massey (Brittney) of Harriet, Dana Green (Chris) of North Little Rock, Debbie Hendrix of Mountain View and Vanessa Harris of Greenbrier; and his siblings, Shirley McCoy, Melvin Dye (Janelle), Charles Dye (Trish), Bonnie Sue Cowan, Holly Jo Dye (Lorressa), Leo Dye (Diane), Cleo Dye, Sheryl Dye and Larry Dye (Georgia). He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Rock Creek Cemetery.
