He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter E. Griffith and Pattie Griffith (Appling); his wife Betty Griffith; and his siblings, Jimmy, Clyde, Malcolm, Raymond, Thelma James, Mickey Marshall and Jean Burns.
He is survived by: his children, Jeannine Gaines of Marion and Aubrey Guy Griffith of Harrisburg; his stepchildren, Bobby Owens (Susan), Vernon (Suk), Patricia Richardson (Terry) of Trumann and Terry Rheuark of Collierville; and his siblings, Donald Griffith (Kathy) of Oxford and Geneva Hopkins of Owensville. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great~grands, nieces, and nephews.
