He was predeceased by: his parents, Faye Bass and Hooper; his wife Joyce Bass (Seabourn); his daughter Shelia Qualls; and his siblings, Bobby Joe Bass, Brenda Bass and Betty Masters.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Bass (Christy) of Harrisburg, James Vannatter (Constance), Kim Drum (Richard) of Harrisburg, Tina Vannatter, Annetta Sharp, Darlene Bell and Carman Tiger; and his sisters, Paulette Worley of Harrisburg and Beverly Harris (Bass) of Harrisburg. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
