He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Laden and Pearl Laden (Harvey); his wife Janet Laden (Freishour); his daughter Melissa Cantrell; and his siblings, Bill, Othe, Danny, Freddy, Bobbie, George Laden, Isolene Laden, Kathy Tyler and Lillie Prince.
He is survived by: his children, Chad Laden of Harrisburg, Phoebe Raines (Ronnie) of Jonesboro and Misty Barnes of Harrisburg; and his siblings, Jimmy Laden (Cheryl) of Lepanto, Ricky Laden (Ramona) of Lepanto, Mary Russell (Jimmy) of Etowah and Linda Mills of Florence. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
