He was predeceased by: his parents, William Oscar Whittingham and Julie Curton Whittingham; and his brother James Emerson Whittingham of West Plains, MO.. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Melanie Butler (Rhett), Amanda Eaton (Jon), Brian Whittingham (Kirsten), Grant Whittingham (Kristy) and Ashley Whittingham. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
