He is survived by: his children, Freeman Conner (Dianne), Travis Conner, Joyce Holt (Doug) and Arlette Mathis; his grandchildren, Laura, Richie, Maggie, Lisa, Rebekah, Brooke, Jonathan, Ginny and Elisha; his nephew Gene Carder (Jane); and his nieces, Gloria Jean Timbs and Norma May-Taliaferro. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
