Though Bettie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Asbury Newton and Mabel Garner Newton (Garner); her husband Bruce Vernon Hinchey Sr.; and her sisters, Rebecca Wilson (Newton) and Carol Clark (Newton).
She is survived by: her children, Bruce Vernon Hinchey Jr. of Greenville and Becky Lynn Hinchey of Wichita Falls, Texas; her grandchildren, Paige Hinchey of Denton, Eamon Hinchey, Autumn Hinchey and Riley Hinchey of Greenville, Texas; and her sister Nancy Younger (Newton). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
