It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Purdy of Harrison, Arkansas, who passed away on September 3, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Carolyn departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Carolyn. Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gile Leach and Ruby Leach (Dart); and her brother Lawrence Leach. She is survived by: her spouse Dale A. Purdy; her son Robert Dale Purdy; and her grandson Sean Purdy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Boone County Humane Society and The White Church Cemetery Fund.
