He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Choate and Myrtle Martin Choate; his son William Lee David Choate; and his siblings, Waymon Choate and Alberta Steen.
He is survived by: his children, Clayton Choate (Melissa) of Topeka, Joshua Choate of Harrison, Jeffrey Choate of Harrison, Charles Choate II of Harrison and Amber Choate Wicker (Kyle) of Harrison; his grandchildren, Cody, Brody, Rylee of Topeka, Leah, Anna, Adlee, Finley and Kaiyah of Harrison; his great grandchild Kamille Rose of Topeka; and his brother Joe Choate of Las Vegas, Nevada. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
