He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Elbert Byron and Vesta Opal Gilbert Hawkins; and his sister Lavern Hawkins. He is survived by: his son Brandon Hawkins (Heather) of Harrison; his sister Yvonne Hawkins Frandolig (late Joseph) of Little Rock; his grandchildren, Pierce Rowan Hawkins of Harrison, Alexis Adams of Harrison, Lela Adams of Harrison and Austin Evans of Springfield, Missouri; his great grandchild Fallon Evans of Springfield; and his niece Suzanna McCormick (W. A.) of Little Rock. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the North Arkansas College (1515 Pioneer Dr, Harrison, AR 72601).
