He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgie Washington and Helen Dora Foster Thompson; his wife Nickie Thompson; and his siblings, Winfred Thompson and Mary Grace Wolford.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Thompson Little (Mike) of Jacksonville Beach and Sharon Thompson Trevisan (Luciano) of Aviano; his grandchildren, Dr. Jacob Langston (Lauren) and Jillian Langston Hunter (Reid); and his great grandchildren, William and Amelia Langston. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Holt Memorial Chapel (1904 Capps Rd, Harrison, AR 72601). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (1100 W Bower Ave, Harrison, AR 72601).
