He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Eugene and Leler Aileen Woodell (Plumlee); his former wife Carolyn Woodell; his daughter Sally Woodell; and his brothers, Robert Woodell and Norman Woodell.
He is survived by: his wife Verla Woodell; his sons, Kevin Woodell (Jennifer) and Scott Woodell; his sister Wanda McMillan; and his cousins, Jackie Smith, Bobby and Martha Woodell. He is also survived by two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four step-sons; several step-grandchildren.
