He was predeceased by: his parents, Braz Terry and Hattie Ramsey Terry; his wife Joyce Terry Smith; and his siblings, Cecil Terry, Molly Mae and Josephine Terry Cash.
He is survived by: his children, Herbert Hoover Terry Jr. (Kathy) of Harrison, Joe Terry (Patty) of Harrison and Elva Estelle Terry Yarbrough of Harrison; his grandchildren, Heather DeHart, Lacy Yarbrough, Yancey Terry, Neely Richardson, Tabatha Terry, Amanda Terry and Sara Terry; and his great grandchildren, Mallori DeHart, Hayden DeHart, Olivia Yarbrough, Dasten Terry, Benn Mann, Carly Richardson, Trey Richardson, Ashor Terry-Treml, Drake Terry-Treml and Tinsley Hall.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Holt Memorial Chapel (1904 Capps Rd, Harrison, AR 72601). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Grubb Springs Baptist Church (4884 Grub Springs Rd S, Harrison, AR 72601).
