He was predeceased by: his parents, Brack Kimes and Nell Kimes (Dean); and his brother-in-law Bob Roush. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Kimes; his daughter Kara Tramell; his granddaughters, Erin Tramell of Harrison and Rebecca Tramell of Harrison; his brothers, Jerry Kimes (Karen) of Kansas City, MO and Kent Kimes (Ann) of Harrison; his siblings' children, Josh Kimes and Kortni Dixon (Ben); and his sister-in-law Becky Roush. He is also survived by relatives and dear friends.
