With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ravenel Horton of Harrison, Arkansas, who passed away on December 24, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William A. "Bill" Morrison and Eve Elizabeth Horton Morrison; her former husband Silas A. Horton; her husband First Sergeant; her son Barry Steven Horton; her grandson Joey Michael Hendrix; and her siblings, Daryl, Fletcher, Howard, Duard, Sibyl, Maxine and Ovaline.
She is survived by: her children, Joan E. Hendrix of Indiana and Nickie B. J. Horton of Arkansas; her grandchildren, Lisa Hendrix Boyland of Indiana, Amy Hendrix of Florida, Jennifer Driver of Texas and Jeffery Horton of Texas; her great grandchildren, Kayla Boyland Davenport, Haley Boyland Hare and Chloe Boyland of Indiana; her grandchildren, Bailee, Brinklee, Bellamie, Brady Driver of Texas, Alexa Horton of Missouri and Ashlyn Horton of Illinois; and her great great grandchildren, Aria Davenport, Julian, Evelyn and Cameron Hare of Indiana. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as dear friends.
