He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin Schernikau and Beulah Schernikau (Jackson); his wife Sheila; and his brother-in-law Wayne. He is survived by: his children, Traci Marie of Harrison, Brad Schernikau of Cook, Nebraska, Lynsi Schernikau of Harrison and Jodi Rueda of Harrison; Judy Smith of Lincoln, Nebraska.. He is also survived by five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren.
