It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ruth E. Collins of Harrison, Arkansas, who passed away at the age of 96, on July 5, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Ruth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ruth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe McKinley and Margaret Lovina Sexton; her siblings, Homer, Kurt, Curtis Sexton and Mary Holt; and her children, Audrey Langston and Lester Clark.
She is survived by: her children, Esther Roberson of Harrison and Joe Clark (Betty) of Harrison; and her daughter-in-law Valerie Clark of Harrison. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Capps Full Gospel Church (5204 AR-392, Harrison, AR 72601). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
