She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter McDonald and Esther Harris McDonald; and her brother John Roy McDonald. She is survived by: her husband Billy Ed Hefley; her daughters, Linda Jones (Carl) of Everton and Stacy Poteet (Russell) of Lubbock, Texas; her sister Ronna Gilliam (Rick) of Kerrville, Texas; and her grandchildren, Jeff Jones (Jan) of Olvey, Chris Jones (Heather) of Olvey, Brittany Sisco (Dusty) of Harrison, Jackson and Tad Poteet of Lubbock, Texas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations to High Point Village, a day program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, a cause close to the family's heart, where Wilma's grandson Jackson attends.
