He was predeceased by : his parents, Herman Green and Nellie Green; his siblings, Wanda Lavaughn Womack, Dan Green and Wesley Green; and his daughter Dana Green Wetherington.

He is survived by : his wife Zelma Green (Irvin); his daughter Nanette Adair; and his sister Norma Green Magness. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
