He was predeceased by: his parents, Plummer Meeler and Cleo Meeler (Bell); his wife Patricia Ann Meeler; and his siblings, Gladyse Stover, Sim Meeler, Ralph Meeler, Bobby Meeler and Sammie Meeler.
He is survived by: his children, Willie Fred Meeler, Jr. (Krista) of Hartman, Tammy Meeler Bohannon of Coal Hill, Tonya Hanson of Hartman and Jacqueline McCormick King (Tim) of Altus, Arkansas; his stepdaughter Kim Hayes; and his siblings, Doris Morris of Georgia and Tommy Meeler. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren.
