He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Eli of Hazen, Arkansas. and Betty Nell Minton of Hazen, Arkansas.; his sister Mirleen; his former wife Landa Minton; and his nephew Wade Knox.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Minton of Cabot, Arkansas; his sons, Eric Minton and Alan Minton (Cortney); his granddaughter Monica Winter; his sisters, Karen Knox of Lonoke, Monica Lisko (Jimmy) and Carolyn VanHouten of Hazen; his son Christian VanHouten (Stephanie) of Hazen; and his grandchildren, Kenzlee Minton, Hudson Minton, Raelyn Minton and Addalin Van Hook. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (200 W South Front, Hazen, AR 72064). A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial can be made in Burnell's name to Calvary Baptist Church in Hazen or Faith Baptist Church in Cabot.
