He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Rose and Stella Rose; and his siblings, Tommy, Marshall (Hoppy), Glen and Ruby King.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Rose; his sons, Jeff, David, Danny, Donny and Jamie; and his stepchildren, Teddy Weems, Heath Simmons and Dana Simmons. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
