She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lindsey and Mary Ellen Lindsey (Holley); her husband Alford Connell; her daughter Rebecca Childers; and her siblings, Arby Lindsey, Willie Bolton and Joyce Fowler.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia Potter and Julian Connell (Sarah); her siblings, Laverne Bartlett and Mickey Lindsey (Linda); and her grandchildren, Matthew Potter (Heather), Daniel Childers, Charles Connell (Stephanie), Robert Childers and Jennifer Powell (Glen). She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and a host of extended family and many friends.
