He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Bounds and Mae Bounds; his son Dennis Bounds; and his siblings, Laymon, Lee, Shelby, Sherrell Bounds, Marguerite Pulliam, Eleanor Land and Louise McMillian.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy Bounds; his children, Brenda Bounds Blankenship and David Bounds; his daughter-in-law Lani Bounds; his grandchildren, Connor Bounds (Emily), Sydney Parsons (Chris), Frazier Blankenship (Kaitlyn), Brooke Blankenship, Hayden Blankenship (Harley), Brandon Blankenship, Brittany Paul and Jennifer Bryant (Justin); and his sister Elsie Williams. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
