He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Towell and Evelyn Towell (Gibbons); his brother Billy N. Towell; and his nephew Gregory W. Towell. He is survived by: his wife Janet Towell; his daughter Julie Towell; his nieces and nephews, Sandra King (Ashley), Jan Davis (Roby), Jason Towell and Bert Houston (Suzanne); his great-nephew Colton Towell; his great-niece Heather Houston; his cousin Leonard Towell; Eli Houston Wright.
