He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Scott and Rosa B. Scott (Dunn). He is survived by: his wife Sue Scott (Battles); his children, Cheryl Mitchell (Steve), Michelle Lassiter (Joey) and Stacy Scott (Dawn); his grandchildren, Matthew Dewey, Meghan Dunning, Ethan Gentry, Micah Scott and Ben Scott; and his nephew David Scott. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
