He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Vaughan and Alice Johnson Vaughan; his wife Velma Ragland; his daughter Sharon Kay Julian; and his siblings, Thoy Vaughan, Deloy Vaughan and Monnie Gay.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald Wayne Vaughan, Johnny Ray Vaughan, Debbie Wilson, Robin Gail Clark and Melissa Mae Kennedy. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and wonderful friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Heber Springs Funeral Home (1199 Wilburn Rd, Heber Springs, AR 72543). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at the Pearson Cemetery (389 Edgemont Rd, Quitman, AR 72131).
