She was predeceased by: her parents, James McLaurin Thompson and Fannie Dora Edwards Thompson; her husband Warren Holmes; and her sister Patsy Owens. She is survived by: her children, James Michael Holmes (Monika) of Helena, Arkansas, Patrick Henry Holmes (Melinda) and Frances Annette Etoch (Steven) of Prospect, Kentucky; and her grandchildren, Jamie Ferebee, Charles Stokes, Daniel Holmes, Mac Etoch and Zac Etoch. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
