She was predeceased by: her parents, James Carter and Odean Baker; and her siblings, Betty Clark, Shirley Maxwell, Kenneth Edwards and Vernon "Fred" Davis.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Chism of West Helena, Arkansas and Michael Farkas of West Helena, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Dallas Martin Griffin, Kyle Corbitt, Alysssa Farkas and Breanna Rigdon; and her sister Helen Barnes. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Outreach Church (1430 Springdale Rd, West Helena, AR 72342).
