He was predeceased by : his wife Judy Merritt; his parents, Elmer Merritt and Anna Mae Merritt; his siblings, George Merritt (Helen) and Barbara Merritt; his father-in-law Bob McWilliams; and his brother-in-law Bobby McWilliams.
He is survived by : his son Eddie Merritt; his daughter-in-law Heidi Merritt; his siblings, Frank Merritt (Dora) and Bertie Hulsey (Bob); his mother-in-law Ollie McWilliams; and his sister-in-law Peggy McWilliams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
