He was predeceased by : his parents, Joel Gibson Pillow of Helena, Arkansas. and Mildred Kay Pillow (McCarty); and his grandparents, James Hargraves Pillow, Mary Bell "Bootsie" Pillow, Gordon Edward McCarty, Sr. and Mildred Lowery McCarty.

He is survived by : his son Jackson Oscar Pillow; his brothers, James "Jim" Hargraves Pillow (Brooke) and Edward "Ned" Lowery Pillow (Jill); his nieces and nephews, Taylor White (Mary), Gibson Pillow, Eli Pillow, Lauren Yarbrough (Cameron), Ramsey Pillow, Sadie Pillow, McCarty Pillow, Mary Pillow and Katherine Pillow; his uncle Edward McCarty, Jr. (Charlotte); and his cousins, Michael Harrison (Dan) and Kelly Ransom (Matt).
