She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Carpenter and Rosetta Taylor-Carpenter; her husband Rev. Leroy Williams of Chicago; her siblings, Mae Emma Powell, Bernice Martin and W. C. Carpenter; and her grandchildren, Preston Williams and Orneshia Williams.
She is survived by: her daughters, Yolanda, Penny and Melanie; her granddaughters, Yolanda Williams, Penny Williams of Pine Bluff, Melanie Davis (Terrence) of Southland and Delana Williams of Pine Bluff; her sons, Orlando Williams (LaKeisha) of Tunica, Mississippi, Lee Anthony Williams (Kelfey) of Memphis and Darrell Williams of Pine Bluff; her siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Coburn of Chicago, Betty Anderson (Henry) of Syracuse, Gloria Woodfork (Billy Ray) of Houston, Cynthia Corbin (Torin) of Nettleton, Carolyn Beverly (Jimmy) of Chicago, Sheree Williams of Memphis, Tennessee, Artis Williams of West Helena, Steve Williams (Henrietta) of Detroit, Jackson Williams of Syracuse and Donald Williams of Houston, Texas.; her sister Annie Mae Jefferson; and her friends, Laura Jean Fields and Charlie Mooney. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown's Home For Funerals (417 Walnut St, Helena, AR 72342). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the D. District Center (154 AR-20, Helena, AR 72342). A burial was held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at the Sunset Memorial Park (5741 US 49, West Helena, AR 72312).
