He is survived by: his children, Tyrone Dixon of West Helena, AR, James "Jay" Smith, Jr. (Amanda), North, Brandon Smith (Secrett) of Glenn Heights, TX and Katealius Whittington of Jacksonville, AR; his siblings, Shedrick Smith, Jr. (Christine) of Poplar Grove, AR, Sylvester Smith (Alfredia) of St. Louis, MO, Dennis Smith (Cecelia) of Cedar Hill, TX, Ethel Veasey of Chicago, IL, Josephine Hunter (Charley) of Chicago, IL and Mary Evans of St. Louis, MO; his sister-in-law Pearl Smith of Lexa, AR; his nephews, Charles R. Howard of Memphis, TN, Calvin Thomas (Lorianne) of Jacksonville, AR and Andre Thomas (Teritha) of Olive Branch, MS; and his grandchildren, Tyeshia, Taneisha, Tyquaneshia, Vada Clara, Austin, Jason, Dekeyveonta, Damarian, Davian, Droux, Demi and Dez. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other loving relatives and friends.
