With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Matthews McGregor of Helena, Arkansas, born in Ruleville, Mississippi, who passed away on September 15, 2023 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Matthews and Louise Matthews; and her brother Mark Matthews. She is survived by : her husband Jimmy McGregor of Helena, Arkansas; her daughters, Donna Marie Johnson (Jay) of Benton and Tanya Peige Elliott (Chris) of Collierville, Tennessee; her stepson Chad McGregor of New Orleans, Louisiana; her siblings, Alan Matthews of Ruleville, Betty May Connell of Ruleville, Anna Sue Schmaltz (Bob) of Dresden and Bertha Almeda Wilson of Jackson; her grandchildren, Mary Jordyn Mitchell of Dallas, Landon Lex Elliott of Collierville, Tennessee and Luke Christopher Elliott of Collierville, Tennessee; and also Kelsey Michelle Johnson of Seattle, Washington.. She is also survived by her daughters and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Heart Association, The Rheumatoid Arthritis Association, or Samaritan's Purse.
