He was predeceased by: his parent Richard (Hattie Young, Sr.); his wife Jesse Young; and his daughters, Monica and Melanie. He is survived by: his children, Dallas Josey, Cornell Brown, Meshell Miles, Jennifer Turnerl, Richard Young III and Candace Tucker. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family.
