It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Althea Darlene Arterburn of Hensley, Arkansas, who passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Herndon and Katie Herndon; her sons, James Dean Arterburn and Tony Arterburn; her grandson Harry Arterburn; and her siblings, Etta Elizabeth Herndon, Helen Campbell, Bea Johnson and Buck Herndon.
She is survived by: her siblings, George Herndon (Sandy), Opal Mae Hammond, Sylvia Smith, Jennie Hunter, Doris Kaufman (Melvin), Roger Herndon (Mary) and Bobby Herndon (Rachel); her granddaughters, Robin Murphy, Morgan Ross and Karley Arterburn; and her great grandchild Kayleigh Ross.
